Caped wonders with super powers have been created throughout history during times when people were in dire need of "heroes". They could fly or do a Houdini from the arch-rival's snare. But, these heroes stay on the comic book (or the silver screen). Hence, we in the real world face challenges ourselves--sans super powers. Whether it's families breaking apart or declining literacy in the country, it is we who answer the call from where we are, with what we have.

Nature at work on a Monday morning
Even without cameras to capture such a scene, one need not look far to see that beauty is all around...
And if you look close enough, you'll see glimpses of "before & after" even in tiny flowers such as the Dona Aurora. These pretty blooms of today...
... were merely buds yesterday.
These are indeed reminders of the gift of creation from the Creator, even if through such little creatures.

Yun pala ang tawag dun, Dona Aurora. :)
Yup, named after the wife of the late president Manuel Quezon. There's another variety of this, yung light pink naman ang leaves. It's named Dona Alicia, after the wife of Elpidio Quirino :-)
