Owing to the increasing weight being given to personal views over absolute standards, I shall leave this post with hardly any indication as to what I had in mind for it in the first place (save for the labels, which I wrote right after hitting "new post"). Relativism is the order of the day (as far as this post is concerned anyway); as long as quite a few people nowadays get much satisfaction from a relativistic manner of evaluating the world, then indulge while you scroll down.
